Software Engineer at Visa Inc. (2017 - 2019)
Published multiple patents on developing products improving Consumer Engagement, Value Added
Services (VAS) etc.
Developed a publisher-subscriber system for processing real time data stream processing
about 20k requests every second and upto 400 million every day. Tuned the architecture for
automatic recovery, fail-over and zero downtime.
Devised a consumer engagement study on Transaction Gamification using NodeJS, MongoDB, iOS
Proposed a reliability engineering strategy spanning across multiple architectures using
OpenTSDB, Grafana, Bosun Alerting.
NTU Research Assistantship via URECA & FYP-URECA (2014 - 2017)
Improved Stochastic Path Planning and proposed a model for Multi-agent path planning.
The work resulted in first authored conference paper (IEEE ITSC), a journal paper (IEEE
TIST) and a workshop paper (TRANSET)
The work was also presented at ICUR (International Conference of Undergraduate Research)
conference at Monash University, Australia in 2016.
In 2017, I also received the award for 'Overall Winner' in the category of 'Information
Technology and Computer Science' in Discover URECA@NTU poster competition.
